Setting Personal Preferences

The Personal Preferences allow you to configure your personal options for the following categories (click on a topic to view more information):

Personal Folders— Specifies the locations for all your personal files including messages, faxes, cover pages, etc.

Options— Specifies general user information including refresh rate, notifications, login preferences, and FaxTray access.

Viewer— Specifies fax viewer application and format.

Phone Books Specifies default phonebook used when composing a fax.

Startup Options— Specifies server login criteria and folder views.

Tracing— Specifies Tracer options.

The Personal Preferences settings are specific to the workstation as distinct from the User Properties which are stored on the Enterprise server and are available from any workstation. Your Personal Preferences are kept in the Windows registry and accessed based on your user name when you log into the workstation.
